For Spring Break '09 I headed up north to visit Vern. Over the course of the week we visited Baltimore, Philadelphia, and I took Vern on her first real camping trip.(Winnebagos don't count!)
Baltimore was neat but they really should pick a different color. I mean really who paints their boat aqua?!
Then we headed over to Chapps for a fantastic lunch. Someone needs to ship me some of this stuff.
The next morning we drove to Philly.

My first encounter with Birch bark. I marveled in its glory. It was completely soaked and yet it ignited instantly. I love it!
